Where is the Meadow Lake Tourism Region?

Closer Than You Think!

Our region is perfect for those who are longing to get away from it all and explore the wilderness in safety and comfort.
The Meadow Lake Tribal Tourism region is nestled in the Boreal Forest in Northwestern Saskatchewan, bordering the province of Alberta to the west, Manitoba to the east and the States of North Dakota and Montana USA to the south. Our nine communities are spread throughout our traditional territory which stretches from Meadow Lake in the south all the way to Lac Laloche in the north.
The central urban area for the region is the City of Meadow Lake, which is 293km north of the City of Saskatoon and 553km from the provincial capital Regina. Meadow Lake Tribal region is in the Central Standard Time zone.
Our region is remote but well connected to the rest of the province and easily accessible by provincial highways and Meadow Lake airport. Each of our communities are connected to highways, modern communication services and health services.
